Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are used to make Blue Jogiel clothing?
We use 100% organic cotton, which is grown without pesticides and with less water than conventional cotton. We avoid using polyester since research shows that it can release micro plastics.
Is Blue Jogiel third-party tested?
We conduct third-party testing with a CPSC-certified lab to ensure there are no harmful chemicals for kids. We also test for flammability and heavy metals, in order to ensure we remain CPSIA-compliant.
Where are your garments made?
Our garments are cut and sewn in Los Angeles by our parent company House of Ari Jogiel. Staying close to our ecosystem supports our brand in making clothes sustainably and ethically.
Do you use GOTS-certified cotton?
Currently our cotton is organic certified, however we are working on getting GOTS certification for future drops.
What kind of inks and embroidery threads do you use?
Our embroidery threads are Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, and our inks are certified to ZDHC Conformance Level 3 with ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX®, offering a safer and cleaner alternative to conventional plastisol inks.
What are compostable bags?
They are made from cornstarch and can be thrown away with food waste. They will break down naturally and turn into food for plants, making them a sustainable packaging option that diminishes the consumption of plastic.
I see that you are running low on some styles. Will you replenish soon?
In efforts to slow down fast fashion and choose quality over quantity, all of our drops are made in small batch productions.
How do I know what size will fit my kid?
There is a size chart on each product page with measurements for each size. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. If you find that you ordered the wrong size, contact blue@jogiel.com and we will be happy to help you exchange for another size.
